Pair of slag glass egyptian lamps with 1920s cutout silhouettes.

I love these. I found them about a year apart but they are almost identical. One has a darker slag glass but otherwise they are the same. They have 3 way switches that light the base, the body and the shade separately. I think they are from the 1940's but not sure.

ERTE poster from 1968, LYRIC OPERA

This is one of those great crazy finds. It was in the back of a stack of frames. I dont think the seller had even looked at them. I asked how much the prints were and he said 30 for any of em. I offered 20 and took it without showing him the image...Erte didnt do many posters so this is a cool find. I found it online for sale for anywhere from 400 to 750! Its in perfect condition and the frame is original. The image is very cool.

Pre-columbian warrior

Great find...some damage but a really really cool warrior. I asked a buddy of mine who knows this stuff pretty well and he thinks its either aztec or zapotec(sp). Either way its worth way more than the 20 bucks I paid for it.

Mission oak chair

Found this cool mission oak chair at the flea market. He wanted 50 which seemed fair but....
I offered 20 and he was insulted so I left. Two hours later I walked by as I was leaving and offered 25 which he took! I had the seat recovered with a flea market hyde I bought for 30 bucks. For 55 dollars I have a Mission chair that looks brand new!

Mission Oak footstool maybe stickley???

Flea market find. 30 dollars for a beautiful solid oak footstool with its original leather cover. The leather was beautiful but incredibly frail and brittle from age. I recovered it with a hyde I found at the flea market.
Looks beautiful and has an incredible patina. Can't find any markings but there is a space on the bottom where there was once a label. Ah well...for 30 bucks you cant have everything!

Peter MAX signed 1980 Democratic Convention Poster

Thrift shop find. It was in a broken frame with broken glass and covered in dust. Once I got it home I realized the poster itself was perfect with a pen signature by Max as well as a pencil signature from Dee Dee Ramone. After doing some research I learned that Dee Dee was an artist as well and friends with Max.
Its a great NY image and signed by two icons of the city. I had it reframed in a deco frame and it looks great. Paid 30 for the poster and way more to frame it!
Can't find the image anywhere on line...let me know if you have seen others for sale! Love to figure out the value!

60's Cubist by VB Rann

I broke my twenty dollar rule and paid 40 (off a 75$ asking price) but only after I went home and researched the painter online and found out the he is a listed artist that sells well at auction.
But the reality is I love the painting and plan on keeping it. Its a great cubist piece.
