I love flea markets. I started going in college and never stopped. I find the treasure hunt to be addictive. My entire house is furnished in period furniture from flea markets. My style is craftsman/deco/nouveau. But I love finding pieces from all eras. I enjoy searching the internet to see what some of the items are as well as their value. Its a great way to relax and unwind from the week..and its always great to get a bargain! I have a twenty dollar rule but rules are made to be broken!

COOL 1960's painting for 4 bucks.

Really cool colors and I loved the wobbly shapes. It was in a stack of painting and most of them were dated in the 1960s so I am assuming this is as well. Its got a groovy Austin Powers vibe. Its an oil on paper in very good condition but no signature or date.

4th of July fleaing...

Paid $3.50 for a 1951 modernist painting signed Richard Kent. Its titled the Troubadors. Great color and lines...and well the price was right!
