Went to city college flea market a few weeks ago. Found a really old beat up portfolio with a ton of art deco charcoals by two different artists and a stack of old ad campaign sketches. 10 of the charcoals had a very distinct look -- very Lempica -- I looked up the artist, Barbara Warren and found her to be a well listed artist from the midwest in the 1940's and 50's. They wanted forty bucks for the whole portfolio...about 50 drawings. I got them down to 20! It took two walk aways and one "look how beat up these are" to get them down but it worked!
